Rachel McCoy: Colt McCoy's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Rachel McCoy, wife of NFL star Colt McCoy.

Colt proposed to Rachel on January 12, 2010 while they were both still in college. Colt surprised Rachel by bringing her onto the football field after a game and having the jumbotron at Texas Memorial Stadium  read: "Will You Marry Me. 

As she turned around from reading the message..she was stunned when she saw Colt down on one knee waiting for her answer.

As you know, she said yes and they eventually married on July 17, 2010.

At the couple's wedding, Colt's former teammate and good friend Jordan Shipley, who was also drafted to the NFL, serenaded them with a song titled, "When I Grow Up I Want To Be Just Like Colt McCoy."

Ashley Heap: Todd Heap's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Ashley Heap, wife of NFL star Todd Heap.

Todd and Ashley started dating back in high school. They married in 2001. 


The couple have three children together, daughter (born in 2002), and twin sons (born in 2006).

Stacia Woodhead: Danny Woodhead's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Stacia Woodhead, wife of NFL star Danny Woodhead.

Stacia and Danny first met and started dating in high school at North Platte High School in Nebraska.

The couple continued their strong relationship through college and eventually married on July of 2008.

They have no children at this time.

Stacia woodhead works as a registered nurse (RN).

Molly Crosby: Mason Crosby Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Molly Crosby, wife of NFL star Mason Crosby.

Mason married the former Molly Ackerman on June 28, 2010. The couple has one child together, son Nolan James (born 8/15/2010).

Molly Ackerman Crosby, who is originally from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Chinese language and culture back in 2008.

Susie Light: Matt Light's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Susie Light, wife of NFL star Matt Light.

Susie and Matt met while attending college together at Purdue University. The couple married in 2001. They have three children together.

 In an 2007 interview with WHDH in Boston, Matt and Susie dished on how they first started dating:

Susie said:

"My mom was in town and Matt came in and went up to her and said 'Hi! I'm Matt Light, and I'm going to marry your daughter' and she said, ‘Stand in line buddy and walked away.'" But Matt didn't give up, and says it's the best decision he ever made!

Matt said:

"I would probably be naked, homeless, and very hungry and very unhappy if she wasn't around. I would be lost completely."

Liza Barber: Ryan Fitzpatrick's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Liza Barber, wife of NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick.

After knowing each another for afew years, Ryan and Liza began dating while they both attended Harvard.

Ryan proposed Liza while at a McDonald's. When speaking on his proposal, Fitzpatrick said:

"I asked her when she was between her third and fourth Chicken McNugget. She had sweet and sour all over her face."

The couple married in 2006, a year after Liza graduated from Harvard.

They have three children togehter.

In an interview with the Harvard Crimson, Ryan discussed what Liza meant to him.

Ryan said:

“I have to admit, the girl I left Harvard with was better than the degree. Liza has been an amazing wife and someone I have been able to share this whole experience with from the very beginning. It is easy for me to stay grounded, because I have a wife that reminds me daily that she is the only college All-American in the household.”

Brittany Henne: Chad Henne's Wife

Chad and Brittany have been together for quite awhile. In 2008, Chad proposed to Brittany with a 5.2 carat ring. 

They married on July 3, 2010, the day after Chad's 25th birthday.

Brooke Isenhour Collins: Kerry Collins Wife

Kerry met Brooke at a George Strait concert at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Brooke was sitting behind Kerry at the concert and he somehow managed to strike up a conversation and the rest is history.

Paige Green: John Elway's Wife

Paige and John first met at a golf tournament back in 2005. The couple did not start dating until two years after the golf tournament when Elway noticed Paige on an an infomercial and contacted her. 

John and Paige married in August of 2009 at Elway's estate in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Prior to marrying Paige, Elway was married to Janet Elaway for eighteen years. Janet and Elway divorced in 2003.

Ashton Meem Wilson: Russel Wilson's Wife

Spossip staff would like to introduce to you Ashton Meem Wilson, wife of NFL player Russell Wilson.

Ashton and Russell first met in high school. They attended NC State University together.

After Ashton graduated from NC State before Russell, he then transferred to the University of Wisconsin to raise his NFL draft stock. 


It worked! Russell was drafted in the 3rd round by the Seattle Seahawks.

Russell married his high school sweetheart Ashton on January 14, 2012 at the Country Club of Virginia.
